Strategic Accounts Manager

Job Duties

Strategic Accounts Managers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Westmont, IL). Responsible for growing GT’s footprint within our strategic accounts and targets by identifying computer-aided engineering (CAE) challenges that can be addressed with GT solutions. Cultivate relationships within customer base and sell GT software and drive GT revenue. Rely engineering background and knowledge of GT SUITE’s CAE capabilities in order to effectively communicate GT’s technical solutions to prospective clients. Directly contact leads generated through outreach activities within accounts. Connect with new and existing clients to assess their CAE simulation and digital tool needs and identify the ways in which GT-SUITE can address such needs. Elevate the value proposition with stakeholders, including GT and client engineers and managers. Drive outbound sales efforts through prospecting into new departments of strategic customers to identify and create new business opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or any engineering field plus five years of progressive experience in engineering/sales engineering required. Required skills: business-to-business sales of engineering software; CAE software; Salesforce CRM; building customer relationships; track record of consistent attainment of sales quota. Some telecommuting permitted. Some travel to client sites required.
