3D Vehicle Dynamics WHAT IS GT-3DMBD VEHICLE DYNAMICS?

GT-3DMBD Vehicle Dynamics is used to understand the effects of powertrain, controls and environment on dynamics, low-frequency vibration and stability of vehicles. Functionality extends to any vehicle applications such as on/off road vehicles, aircrafts, helicopters, eVTOLs, rail or marine.

GT-3DMBD Vehicle Dynamics is aimed at the dynamic modeling of the chassis, suspension mechanisms, landing gears, tires and environment (road, mission routes) in order to address vibration transmissibility to the passenger and controls effects on vehicle stability and powertrain energy management, together with the multiple interactions of the different subsystems carried during a certain mission.

GT-3DMBD Vehicle Dynamics allows the user to study different suspension designs with the 3D templates and tire models. This module allows the coupling of these model to the rest of the system model to understand vehicle behavior.

With GT-3DMBD Vehicle Dynamics users are able to perform Vehicle Motion Studies to understand ride quality based on tires and springs/dampers settings. This narrows the testing space, therefore saving time and money.
