This free half day seminar will cover an introduction to GT-SUITE modeling capabilities for several common aerospace applications including environmental control systems, aircraft fuel systems, hydraulic and landing gear systems, and cryogenic fluids for space. Finally, there will be an open discussion on specific interests of the audience.
We will go over the details of example models in all these areas including:
Environmental Control Systems
- Air cycle ducting system
- Simple and detailed cabin modeling
- Vapor compression system
Aircraft Fuel Systems
- Fuel tank transfer over mission
- Tank slosh with 3D tank
Hydraulic and Landing Gear Systems
- Landing gear hydraulic system
- Multi-body dynamics model for landing gear
Cryogenic Fluids for Space
- Propellant refueling example
- Reaction control thruster system
Users are not required to have a computer but are encouraged to follow along if they have one.
